You will verify network coverage, obtain or validate benefits and pre-certifications, and enter data accurately in Epic and MS Office while maintaining high reliability and patient focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant customer service experience required.
• 2 years professional office/healthcare experience preferred.
• CHAA certification upon hire preferred; CPI training required annually.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families upon arrival, setting a welcoming tone.
• Greet and interact with patients to gather complete demographics for EHR integrity.
• Verify benefits and pre-certifications to maximize reimbursement where applicable.
• Educate patients and families on applicable documents and consents.
• Explain financial obligations and prepare estimates for co-pays and balances.
• Complete MSPQ, IMM, ABN, and NOC checks accurately.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and department policies.
• Mentor peers and participate in staff meetings and projects.
• Maintain Epic queue and performance dashboards.
• Communicate about insurance plans and potential out-of-network implications.
