Job summary

Hermitage Hall, a UHS company, seeks an Admission Coordinator to manage the admission, treatment and review process for youth. You will communicate with referral sources and guardians, review collateral information, and complete precertification with insurance providers to determine eligibility.

This role requires coordinating with internal staff to ensure a smooth handoff for clients and preparing all admission paperwork.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Services related field or Nursing BSN/RN is required.
• One year experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient care and/or admission experience is required.
• Ability to complete clinical assessments.
• Ability to meet deadlines and monthly admissions requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must complete a mandatory two-week new hire orientation.
• Background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate information of daily census and potential admission information.
• Monitor and evaluate intake/admission information and verify insurance information.
• Completes admission assessment timely and refers clients not suitable for admission.
• Communicates pertinent information to administrator and managers prior to admission.
• Obtains and disseminates clinical information related to potential patient to staff for discussion and approval.
