Job summary

Hermitage Hall, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Admission Coordinator to manage the end-to-end admission process, communicate with referral sources and guardians, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing referrals, completing precertifications, and conveying essential information to stakeholders to support timely admissions. A clinical background and focus on accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling/psychology/social services or nursing (BSN/RN).
• At least 1 year of clinical direct patient care or admission experience.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and monthly admissions targets.
• Must be at least 21 years old and complete mandatory orientation.
• This role requires a full background check including fingerprinting and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate daily census and admission data.
• Review intake and insurance verification information.
• Complete admission assessments and refer non-eligible clients appropriately.
• Communicate with administrators and managers prior to admission.
• Coordinate with internal agencies about referrals and admission projections.
