Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/training: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 6 months of reception or behavorial health technician experience, preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Current North Carolina Driver's License.
• Knowledge and Skills: Ability to perform phone/reception responsibilities; knowledge of hospital emergency codes; strong customer service; proactive security response.

Responsibilities

• To perform a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safe - guarding of employees, patients, visitors, physicians and property.
• Greet new incoming patients, patient observation, gathering patient information along with contraband searches. Assist with transferring patients and patient belongings.
