Valley Vista is seeking an Admissions Scheduler to coordinate inpatient admissions for substance use treatment and to serve as the primary contact for referrals. You will guide the admissions process, collaborate with clinical staff and external partners, and ensure timely transitions into care.

You will coordinate MAT services with community providers, communicate with correctional facilities when needed, and maintain accurate scheduling records using Excel and internal systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare scheduling, behavioral health, or substance use treatment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.

The Admissions Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling inpatient admissions for a substance use treatment program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for referrals, working closely with internal clinical teams, community providers, and correctional facilities to ensure timely, smooth transitions into care.
