Job summary

Emmanuel Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Admissions RN to join our compassionate team. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) with a sign-on bonus and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on patients and families at a difficult time.

You will guide families through hospice options, answer questions, and coordinate admissions, while benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package, including day-one medical coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or acute care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to explain medical and hospice-related information with compassion and clarity.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.

As an Admissions RN, you have the opportunity to change that experience.

You'll be the first face, the first conversation, and the first source of reassurance. You'll help patients and families understand their options, answer their questions, and provide the sense of relief that comes from knowing they're not alone.

It's work that combines clinical expertise with compassionate presence, and it's often remembered by families long after that first visit.
