Alliance Health Center in Meridian, Mississippi, seeks a caring Registered Nurse for an Admissions Coordinator role in our 24/7 Intake Department for Substance Abuse, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience in intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention with psychiatric patients.
• Currently licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses, and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries seeking mental health care or information.
• Conduct clinical assessments in a timely manner using appropriate processes.
• Ensure patients and families understand the admissions and treatment process.
• Discuss clinical issues with physicians to determine next steps.
• Provide guidance to Intake Counselors and other staff.
• Collaborate with other departments and hospital leaders to address patient needs.
