Job summary

Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Admission Representative to serve as the first contact for referral sources, support the Director of Business Development and Admission Manager, and help manage referrals from intake to census.

You will coordinate referrals, verify insurance, obtain pre-admission paperwork, and maintain required records while delivering customer service in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar or related role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance products and payors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate management of referrals and communicate to team members.
• Complete billing and insurance verification.
• Obtain admission compliance paperwork efficiently and timely.
• Obtain and maintain records and documentation for pre-admission.
• Ensure completion of pre-admission requirements for business development team members.
• Work closely with Admission Manager and Director of Business Development on daily operations (admissions and census).
• Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Essential Duties

• Coordinates management of referrals and effectively communicates to team members

• Ensures completion of pre-admission requirements for business development team members
• Works closely with theAdmissionManagerand Director of Business Development forany and alldaily operational duties, which may include, but not limited to, areas of admissions and census
• Completes otherduties asassigned by leadership, Director of Business Development, and AdmissionManager.

Required Qualifications
