Responsabilités

• Collaborate with billing company to verify coverage and benefits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with potential clients and referral sources.
• Identify and address potential barriers to admission, such as financial or insurance issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in behavioral healthcare.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.

The Admissions Representative is responsible for promoting the services of our behavioral healthcare facility and facilitating the intake process for potential clients. The Admissions Representative will work closely with the admissions team to ensure a seamless and efficient intake process.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other software systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
• Experience working in a behavioral healthcare facility or similar setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Work Environment:

• The Admissions Representative will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent phone calls and interactions with clients and referral sources.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate client needs.
• This is an in-office position. Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
