Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive intake assessments and gather necessary information to support the intake process.
• Facilitate the intake process, including scheduling appointments, completing paperwork, and conducting phone or video interviews.
• Coordinate with the treatment team to ensure a smooth transition into treatment.
• Collaborate with billing company to verify coverage and benefits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with potential clients and referral sources.
• Identify and address potential barriers to admission, such as financial or insurance issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in behavioral healthcare.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a behavioral healthcare facility or similar setting.

Work Environment:

• The Admissions Representative will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent phone calls and interactions with clients and referral sources.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate client needs.
• This is an in-office position. Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
