Job summary

Henderson Hospital seeks a patient registration specialist. You will interview patients or responsible parties to collect identification and demographic data, verify benefits, and perform upfront collections to support accurate billing.

You will determine eligibility, arrange admissions, obtain payment responsibility signatures, and explain financial obligations. You will also answer calls, direct inquiries, and assist with letters and ordering office supplies, with bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical/healthcare business office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Computer skills required.
• Good verbal communication skills in English/Spanish required.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
