Job summary

Broward College seeks an experienced Specialist, Admissions & Registration to oversee the collection and review of applications, transcripts, and documents for admission eligibility. Under limited supervision, you will manage files, ensure accurate progression of records, and help applicants navigate admissions policies.

The role supports veterans’ preference processing, residency verification, and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in admissions environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and assess admissions applications and supporting documents.
• Review applications for eligibility and residency classification.
• Create and maintain manual and computerized records; establish logs and filing systems.
• Data entry and generation of internal reports.
• Respond to inquiries and advise on admissions policies and documents.
• Coordinate petitions for refund and other policies with relevant departments.
• Provide administrative support for admissions documentation and processes.
• Supervise student workers as needed.
