Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Start of Care North team. You’ll assess patients in their homes, develop care plans, and deliver skilled nursing with independence while working within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

The schedule is full-time, 36 hours, Tue–Fri, with no evenings. You’ll travel to patient homes across the North Boston area and use the MGB electronic documentation system to review notes and orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• At least one year of acute care nursing experience (home care preferred).
• Comfort working with various computer systems; handheld devices are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with diverse populations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel within the MGB Healthcare at Home geographic area.

Job Summary

As an RN, you’ll have the independence to manage your patients and schedule, without giving up the support of a strong team.

Start of Care North team

Most visits will be in, Andover, Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Concord, Lawrence, Lexington, Lincoln, N. Billerica, Reading, Stoneham, Tewksbury, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester, and Woburn, with additional coverage in touching towns as needed. You’ll work with a diverse patient population and provide care where patients live every day.

Your schedule includes dedicated time for documentation, chart review, and care coordination. Our MGB electronic documentation system gives you easy access to doctors’ notes and orders, helping make communication and care coordination more seamless.
