Job summary

Summit BHC in Franklin, Tennessee seeks a Referral Admissions Coordinator to provide exceptional client and family service. You field inbound referral calls, follow a sales guide, and act as the single point of contact for patient-centered communication and admissions.

This onsite role requires attention to detail, ability to discuss insurance and payments, and collaboration with the RAC team to manage caseload and document admissions decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in transactional/relationship sales preferred.
• Experience in substance use disorder or psychiatric treatment field highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages client caseload and assists RAC team with admission-related activities.
• Answers inbound referral calls and navigates calls to close using the training and knowledge.
• Discusses insurance and other out-of-pocket costs and determines client financial obligation for treatment.
• Coordinates with Business Development and referral sources for patient support and follow-up.
• Makes admission decisions on intervention, facility, dates, and travel.
