Job summary

South Louisiana Community College is seeking an Admissions and Recruiting professional to guide prospective students through the enrollment process, from application to registration, and to support outreach activities across campus and external sites.

The role requires presenting information about program options, tuition, and financial aid, maintaining CRM records, and coordinating with campus partners to maximize enrollment success. Evening and weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 3 years of work-related experience in admissions, recruiting, advising, outreach, or marketing at the post-secondary level.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications and college software systems used in admissions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Promote SLCC to prospective student types and guide them through enrollment stages.
• Develop and manage recruitment events on campus and at external locations.
• Advise students on pathways, financial aid, and program prerequisites.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and student information systems; track progress through enrollment funnel.
