TCAT-Crump is hiring for an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter in the Student Services Department. The full-time exempt position involves recruiting prospective students and supporting admissions, records, and financial aid processes.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, event coordination, and collaboration with local schools and adult learners to improve enrollment and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in marketing, customer service, education, recruitment or related field
• Ability to lead, plan and prioritize projects
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English with excellent public speaking and presentation skills
• Ability to work with various populations

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, high-energy environment that fosters interaction among students and staff, ensuring all individuals feel valued and supported.
• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and enrolled students at TCAT Crump locations.
• Lead recruitment and retention efforts, including outreach to local high schools and adult learners; host informational sessions and workshops.
• Coordinate campus events such as graduations, open houses, and job fairs to promote engagement.
• Provide orientation and counseling to help students with career paths, admissions, and financial aid processes.
• Manage communication with applicants regarding admissions, records, and financial aid.
• Update social and traditional media, create marketing materials to increase program visibility.
