Job summary

The New York College Podiatric Medicine is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to support enrollment by providing information to prospective students, creating communications, and representing the college at recruitment events and fairs.

The role requires advising potential students about podiatric medicine, hosting open houses, and building relationships with universities and pre-health advisers. Travel within the tri-state area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Recruitment/admissions experience is a plus (student work acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to set appointments with prospective students.
• Conduct student interviews.
• Develop recruitment strategies to increase enrollment considering demographics and geographic areas.
• Assist students with application materials.
• Ensure enrollment documents are complete and manage enrollment paperwork.
• Host open houses for prospective students and families.
• Attend college career fairs and promote the university brand.
• Screen resumes and interview prospective candidates.
• Report recruiting metrics after events.
• Collaborate with team leaders to define best practices for recruitment.
• Build relationships with universities and other educational institutions.
• Develop articulation/linkage agreements with outside colleges.
• Learn university admissions system and requirements.
• Create and maintain database and relationships with pre-health advisers.
