Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking an Admissions Processing Representative to handle student admissions and registration tasks, ensuring accuracy and providing clerical support. The role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and serves as a backup to other staff duties as needed.

Responsibilities include processing admissions, entering student data, and maintaining records, with a focus on accuracy, FERPA compliance, and proper document control in a collaborative Student Services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some related experience in data entry or clerical support.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar office suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time- and task-management abilities.
• Knowledge of FERPA; compliance within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Process student admissions and registration documents in a timely manner.
• Enter new students into appropriate admissions or enrollment records.
• Review and revise reports and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Administer and interpret policies regarding admission, re-admission, and late registration.
• Process residency documentation and enter transcripts into admissions records.
• Type, edit, and manage forms, reports, memos, and correspondence.
• Set up, organize, and alphabetize files and records; maintain up-to-date file systems.
• Identify and track document completeness; log documents received and completed.
• Assist with other job-related duties as assigned.
