Job summary

The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) is seeking a diligent admissions processor to manage undergraduate applications and determine initial admission status based on final transcripts.

You will respond to inquiries from students, parents, and high school counselors about requirements, status, and decisions; collaborate with other campus offices; and provide communications about missing items or transcript details.

Qualifications

• High School or Associates degree with 1-2 years of office experience.
• Bachelor's degree with two years or more office related experience.

Responsibilities

• Process undergraduate applications for admission and determine initial status based on final transcripts.
• Respond to questions from students, parents, and high school counselors about admission requirements, status, and decisions; provide communications concerning missing requirements for admissions or transcripts.
• Work with other departments across campus concerning the undergraduate admission application.
• Support the admissions office in the absence of the office associate.

Determine initial admission status and monitor admissions status based on final high school and college transcripts. Respond to students, parents, and high school counselor questions about admission requirements, status, and decisions; and provide communication concerning missing requirements for admissions or information on transcripts. Work in conjunction with other departments and constituents across campus concerning the undergraduate admission application. Support admissions office in the absence of the office associate.
