CommuniCare Health Services is hiring a Central Placement Specialist for the West Virginia region. The role leads the intake and financial verification process for skilled nursing home admissions and drives referrals to suitable facilities to grow census.

Strong data entry and healthcare background are required. You will collaborate with the admissions team and managed care organizations to obtain authorizations and ensure paperwork reaches the facility promptly.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional admissions experience in a skilled nursing environment (preferred).
• Strong time management and organizational skills required.
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake and financial verification for admissions.
• Drive referrals for placement to appropriate facility to grow census.
• Coordinate paperwork and authorization numbers with admissions team and MCOs.
• Ensure all required documents are sent to the center for smooth admission.
