Job summary

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa is opening February 2025. The Admissions Manager will coordinate the admission/intake process for all patients, serving as the first point of contact for admissions representatives and receptionists, and partnering with the Director of Business Development to oversee daily operations.

The role includes leading daily census efforts, building payer relationships, supporting audits, and guiding new hires in collaboration with the DBD.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years experience in rehabilitation or closely related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily census and hospital metrics in team meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local insurance payers and know payer contracts.
• Assist with admission audits and pull data for team education.
• Support day-to-day admissions, billing, and authorization submission; train new hires with the DBD.
