Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking an outreach and admissions professional to conduct recruitment and eligibility determinations for Job Corps.

The role emphasizes strong outreach to public service agencies, schools, and community organizations, plus candidate interviews and documentation preparation. The position requires a Bachelors degree (or 2 years with an Associates) in a related field, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel.
• Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs.
• Bachelortes degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field, or Associatetes degree, and two years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach activities with public service agencies, schools, and organizations to recruit eligible candidates.
• Interview interested candidates and obtain pertinent information.
• Prepare documentation on potential students and review with the center as applicable.
• Provide orientation for prospects and schedule tours of the center.
• Maintain monthly goals and record contacts within 24 hours.
