Job summary

Regency Pacific seeks an Admissions Coordinator (RN or LPN) to manage admissions and discharges for residents. You will monitor conditions, assess needs, and communicate with physicians and nurses to create individualized care plans, while performing routine nursing duties and medication administration as ordered.

The role requires an active state nursing license and at least two years of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Possess Nursing License within state, in good standing.
• Two years of skilled nursing experience required.
• Work independently, problem solve, and manage conflict.
• Know resident rights. Help residents/patients exercise and protect their rights.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident/patient information and follow HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions and discharges.
• Monitor residents' condition and assess their needs to provide the best care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patients' symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for residents.
• Perform routine nursing duties, adjust and administer residents' medications and provide treatments according to physicians' orders.
• Additional duties as needed.
