Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical or observational nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for admissions, complete medication reconciliation, and obtain admission orders from physicians.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to determine appropriate level of care.
• Perform insurance benefit verifications and secure initial pre-authorization for treatment and admission.
• Admit patients into the registration system and complete consent forms.
• Maintain accurate medical records to facilitate payor authorization and ensure timely payor communication.
• Provide empathetic patient-centered communication and address concerns or complaints.
