Job summary

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring an Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) in Panama City, FL. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week, full benefits, and a $2,500 sign-on for new employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Florida RN license or compact license.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 2pm-10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complete nursing assessment of all admissions including risk assessments; educational needs and medication review; completes required nursing documents within established time frame.
• Assist the assigned Nursing Team including initial nurses assessment, initial treatment planning, verifying orders, consents, report and searches, and assist with staff breaks.
• Chart group notes, observations, interactions with patients, and provide patient and family education.

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our four outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

Job Duties:
