American Addiction Centers is seeking an Admissions Nurse to join our treatment team in Florida. This role requires a thorough understanding of our program, admission process, and clinical pathways.

You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate intake, and support clients and families with compassionate, confidential service. The position emphasizes collaboration with medical leadership, adherence to standards, and ongoing documentation and training to uphold our recovery-focused care

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• Knowledge of mental health, addiction and treatment preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle confidential information and manage time wisely.
• Working knowledge of Google products, GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing admissions process, including explaining services and costs, and conducting intake screenings.
• Deliver high-quality customer service standards of care and productivity for clients.
• Review admission referrals and coordinate with navigators for proper placement.
• Triage all incoming clients for intended level of care and escalate as needed.
• Document patient care services by charting in client and department records.
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and participate in staff education.
