Pine Ridge Post Acute in Washington state is seeking an Admissions Nurse to guide residents through the admission process with compassion and clinical confidence. This part-time role emphasizes thorough, compliant assessments and coordination with hospitals, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington State RN license, CPR/BLS certification, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and EMR experience (PointClickCare preferred).

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records; PointClickCare preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and medical information to determine admission appropriateness.
• Complete comprehensive clinical reviews including diagnoses, medications, therapies, labs, and functional status.
• Communicate with hospitals, physicians, families, and referral partners.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across Nursing, Administration, Therapy, Social Services, and Diet.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure rooms and resources are ready for new residents.
• Ensure accurate admission documentation and care plans.
