Job summary

Middleton Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking an Admissions Nurse to care for our residents and help them recover quickly. You will educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits and follow health and safety guidelines with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be a responsible, well-trained professional who can deliver high-quality nursing care and promote independence in a friendly environment, with a commitment to compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Valid RN nursing license in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients.
• Ensure the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care.
• Provide in-service/staff development programs that meet nursing objectives and comply with regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise to support the nursing process in patient/resident interventions.
• Assist in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
• Exercise supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing.

• Ensures that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.

Requirements: Admissions Nurse
