Job summary

Middleton Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for our patients and assist in their speedy recovery. The role involves educating patients and families on prevention and healthy habits while upholding high professional standards.

You will monitor patients, interpret symptoms, and collaborate with a care team to create individualized plans. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a valid Wisconsin RN license are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
