Job summary

Middleton Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking an Admissions Nurse to care for our residents and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits to promote independence with dignity.

The ideal candidate will be responsible, well-trained, and able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully, providing high quality nursing care with minimal supervision in a compassionate setting under new ownership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Valid RN nursing license in the state of Wisconsin

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to residents/patients.
• Ensures adequate staffing to provide quality care.
• Provides in-service/staff development programs to meet nursing objectives and comply with regulations.
• Provides clinical expertise to support the nursing process in patient interventions.
• Assists in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
• Exercises administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by leadership.

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients. Supports and practices the philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing.
• Ensures that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.
• Ensures the provision of in-service/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Provides clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/ resident interventions.
• Assists in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
• Exercises administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON.
