Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of intake or admissions experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain referral relationships and networking strategies.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption per policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions and discharges for patients.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Assist with utilization review by supporting billing coordination with the corporate office.
• Coordinate and collect co-pays, deductibles, and other patient fees at admission, during treatment, or at discharge.
• Assist with arranging patient payment plans as needed.
• Serve as a liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage.
• Schedule and complete admission assessments and required documentation.
• Support performance improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
