Job summary

Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced LVN for full-time admissions nursing. The role involves patient assessment at admission, coordinating with physicians, and executing care plans with a focus on timely medication administration.

Requires active California LVN license, US work authorization, PCC experience, and willingness to perform med pass. Competitive hourly pay and an inclusive, caring work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and active California LVN License.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have prior Admissions Nurse experience at a skilled nursing facility.
• Must be willing to perform med pass when needed.
• Must be comfortable with PCC Shift Full-Time Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on assessment care to patients during the admissions process.
• Effectively communicate assessment findings with physician.
• Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
• Evaluate patients' needs and initiate care plans on admission/readmission.
• Receive, document, and transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Communicate orders to others to ensure timely medications and implementation.
• Chart appropriately and timely; exhibit excellent customer service.
