Job summary

Torrance Post Acute, a community of caring professionals in Torrance, CA, seeks a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Skilled Nursing Facility.

The full-time LVN will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document changes in residents' conditions.

We offer a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shift, competitive wages from $33 to $38 per hour based on experience, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California LVN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience, preferably in SNF or acute care.
• Strong clinical assessment, planning, and care implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments, monitor vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date charting and documentation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
