Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking an Admissions Manager to oversee the admissions process from first inquiry to intake. You will coordinate applications, manage the intake flow, and be the primary contact for families and referral partners.

The role collaborates with the Funding and Admissions Advocate and other departments to ensure a welcoming admissions experience for clients and families. A background in administrative supervision and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of administrative and supervision experience.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort with communicating with families and referral partners.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from prospective applicants and referral partners; explain the Lakeside Academy program and admissions process.
• Handle inquiries from the website and referral sources; maintain consistent communication with families throughout the admissions process.
• Conduct interviews with potential clients and families to assess program fit; gather records from parents and schools.
• Schedule and facilitate campus tours for prospective families; represent the program to referral sources and community partners.
• Schedule intake dates and coordinate with schools and providers for necessary documentation.
• Ensure timely processing of funding verifications and financial paperwork.
• Assist clients and parents on the day of admission; administer required screening tools and submit intake docs.
• Upload documents to Credible and maintain client records; manage intake trackers and logs.
• Coordinate with Funding & Admissions Advocate on financial planning during intake.
• Participate in events and provide a positive experience for visiting families.
