Job summary

Charter College is seeking an Admissions Representative to respond to prospective student inquiries via phone, email, and web leads, and to generate leads through referrals and campus activities. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Director of Admissions.

The AR will manage high-volume calls, conduct admissions interviews, enroll qualified applicants, and enter notes in CampusVue, meeting daily quotas while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or service-related environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, indoor sales center environment.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and respond with urgency to business and customer needs.
• Proven multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of remote communication tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, database software, and internet applications.
• Must be punctual, responsible, ethical, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Respond to prospective student inquiries via telephone, direct mail, and internet leads.
• Generate leads through current students, referrals, and outside resources.
• Meet performance goals and enroll qualified students.
• Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Schedule admissions interview appointments and conduct interviews by phone, in person, or video.
• Enter notes into CampusVue and track enrollment deadlines.
• Maintain professional work environment and dress code.
• Attend admissions and staff meetings and meet daily quotas.
