Job summary

City Museum in St. Louis is hiring Admissions and Gift Shop Attendants for our Retail team. Earn $15.30 per hour with flexible schedules and opportunities to visit with friends and family through free tickets.

Join a fast-paced environment, greet guests, sell admissions and merchandise, handle payments, and help create a fun park experience.

Applicants must be at least 16, comfortable with computers, and available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their shopping experience
• Sell daily admission, season passes, and all other products in an efficient and friendly manner
• Sell various merchandise
• Receive payment by credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits
• Offer additional products to offer the best park experience
• Have excellent payment handling skills to make transactions fast, friendly, and fun
• Merchandise and maintain sales displays
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
• Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
• Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities
• Follow all park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16* years of age
• Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
