Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Admissions Facilitator in the Schrafft City Center, Charlestown location. This on-site role supports patient flow and bed placement across multiple units with daily coordination and leadership involvement.

You will partner with nursing leadership, physicians, case managers and support staff to optimize admissions and transfers, ensuring timely, high-quality care within the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. RN license required.
• 3-5 years’ related work experience. Strong clinical triage and leadership skills.
• Office-based role with cross-functional collaboration across hospital departments.
• Proficient in standard computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, admissions, and transfers within Emergency Departments, ICUs, and clinics.
• Coordinate bed placement and load balancing across units and facilities.
• Lead daily admissions planning meetings and communicate bed status to leadership.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and staff to ensure timely admissions and transfers.
• Support quality improvement activities related to patient flow and safety.
