Job summary

Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our Admissions team as we open our new treatment center. You will help patients and families understand the financial side of treatment, support insurance verification and financial clearance, collect payments, and coordinate with Admissions and Revenue Cycle to smooth the admission process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare admissions or related field preferred.
• Experience with health insurance benefits or patient financial responsibility preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable discussing financial information with patients and families.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial clearance for prospective patients before admission.
• Review insurance benefit and eligibility information.
• Explain financial expectations clearly and compassionately to patients and families.
• Communicate estimated deductibles and patient responsibility.
• Coordinate with Admissions and Revenue Cycle to prevent delays in treatment access.
