Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program.
• Current national NP board certification.
• Current Iowa ARNP license or ability to obtain before start date.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain before prescribing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission evaluations, medical histories, exams, and ongoing patient assessments.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic conditions within the program scope.
• Evaluate withdrawal and provide appropriate medical management.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on medical and recovery needs.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, including MAT/MOUD as appropriate.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical therapists, case managers, and physicians.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record.
• Ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
