Job summary

Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, seeks an Admissions Evaluator to perform real-time analysis of completed applicant files for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. The role collaborates closely with Admissions Counselors, ESS, and Associate Directors to support decisions and faculty when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Regent University and all programs, financial aid and scholarships, transcript and credit evaluation policies, and student advising.
  • Review and evaluate application files for admissions decisions or for the recommendation of admissions decisions to Assistant Directors.
  • Maintain expert knowledge in Banner, Ellucian, and other programs deemed essential for applicant management.
  • Maintain working knowledge on programmatic content, helpful Faculty feedback, and other tactics to assist with phone calls and application completion.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional weekends. Regular attendance and participation in university events.

Job description

This position is responsible for the real time analysis of completed applicant files for review of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral applications to make decisions or work with Faculty when necessary. The Admissions Evaluator works closely with the Admissions Counselors, ESS, and Associate Directors and Faculty in a supportive, proactive and professional manner.

Salary

$38,000 annually

Essential duties
