Regent University in Virginia Beach is seeking an Academic Services Manager (ASM) to coordinate and oversee administrative support for the School of Education. The role requires collaboration with program directors, the Business Office, and faculty to ensure accurate data handling and event planning.

The ASM will manage assessment data, assist with registration processes, and help organize teacher education meetings, contributing to compliant and efficient program operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submission of academic assessment data into the Weave assessment management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Pull and file forms for Student Teaching with guidance from the program director.
• Collaborate with the Business Office for Cooperating Teachers' payment.
• Verify student teaching logs and related documentation for compliance with program, licensure, and university requirements.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of School of Education events.
• Assist in official registration process for students enrolling in their dissertation course.

Job description

The Academic Services Manager (ASM) will coordinate and oversee administrative support for the School of Education.

Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually

Essential duties:

• Coordinate the submission of academic assessment data by entering information provided by department chairs into the Weave assessment management system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with university reporting requirements.
• Pull and file forms provided by the program director for Student Teaching with guidance from the program director for Student Teaching.
• Collaborate with the Business Office for Cooperating Teachers' payment.
• Assist with verifying student teaching logs and related documentation to ensure compliance with program, licensure, and university requirements.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of School of Education events, including the Fall and Spring Teacher Education meetings and other program-related activities.
• Help with official registration process for students enrolling in their dissertation course. Ensure accurate documentation of registration records, approvals, and forms.
