IYRS School of Technology & Trades in Newport, RI seeks an Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students from inquiry through enrollment. You will build authentic relationships, communicate the value of our programs, and support recruitment efforts with Marketing, Student Services, and Faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, higher education, sales, customer service, recruiting, or a related field.
• Experience working with CRM platforms and data reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students through calls, emails, texts, and in-person meetings.
• Conduct admissions interviews and assess readiness per policy.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate admissions documents.
• Plan and assist campus events open houses and tours.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Student Services, and Faculty to support enrollment goals.
