Job summary

Smith Chason College seeks an Admissions Advisor to guide prospective students through the admissions lifecycle, providing clear information and a welcoming campus experience. This on-campus, hourly role reports to the Campus Director and partners with departments to meet enrollment goals, while ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering student-first service.

Responsibilities include follow-up with inquiries, event support (Open House/Career Day), and accurate forecasting of enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience in career services, sales, recruiting, or job placement in a vocational field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and meet placement outcomes.
• Proven sales and networking skills.
• Strong technical skills including computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytics.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Consult with prospective students (and parents) to convey the value of education for a successful career.
• Follow up with prospective students via phone and email.
• Communicate campus and program features accurately to prospects.
• Manage admissions processes, including trend analysis and forecasting new student counts.
• Support campus events such as Open House and Career Day; participate in orientations and commencements.
