Job summary

Fundamental in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Admissions Director to lead our admissions process and drive patient admissions from tour to enrollment. You will coordinate with discharge planners, families, and staff to ensure a seamless experience and timely paperwork.

You will market the facility's health care services, conduct outside calls to referral sources, and handle clinical and financial approvals. This is a full-time, weekday role with hours 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Admissions/Marketing within healthcare settings.
• Long term care marketing/admissions experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
• Ability to discuss clinical evaluations with physicians and other care givers within facility.
• Must be able to travel locally by personal automobile as required.
• Only candidates with long term care marketing/admissions experience will be considered.

Position Summary

Lead our team to success in managing and driving patient admissions in our facility! Experienced and motivated Admissions Directors,

Full-time hours

Monday -Friday

8am-4pm

Posted Salary Range

USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as the initial contact as necessary with discharge planners, family or responsible party to initiate tour of facility and follow up procedures.
• Manage the admission process to include: conducting effective tours that promote conversion to admission, timely completion of admission paperwork, coordinate clinical and financial approvals for admission, communication with families and staff to ensure admission process is seamless.
• Take the lead in marketing the many fantastic health care services we offer to potential patients/ residents by periodically making outside calls on referral sources throughout the week.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator
• 2+ years of experience in an Admissions/Marketing position in healthcare environment
• Long term care experience required
• Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology - ability to discuss clinical evaluations with physicians and other care givers within facility
• Must be able to travel locally by personal automobile as required
• Only candidates with long term care marketing/admissions experience will be considered
• Reliable transportation required
