Job Summary

This position is responsible for directing the colleges student admissions functions.

Responsibilities
Directs department operations - 20%
  • Trains, assigns, directs, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines personnel.
  • Resolves human resources issues.
  • Manages department budget.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures.
  • Directs the maintenance of department files and databases.
Directs student admissions operations - 60%
  • Develops and oversees annual admission enrollment goals.
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of recruitment plans.
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of communication plans.
  • Directs the creation of publications and print pieces.
  • Resolves escalated admissions issues.
  • Executes admissions processing and decisions.
  • Monitors processing volumes and accuracy.
  • Monitors progress toward institutional admissions goals.
Performs related duties - 20%
  • Performs the duties of other department staff as needed.
  • Completes High School Curriculum Unit evaluations for non-accredited and homeschool students.
  • Serves on a variety of campus and community committees.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders, including local high schools.

  • Masters degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.

  • More than five years of related experience required.
