Job summary

Oklahoma State University-Tulsa is seeking an Admissions Counselor to support prospective students through the college search and application process. The role centers on building relationships with students, families, and school counselors while delivering targeted outreach and presentations to achieve enrollment goals.

You will travel within the territory, conduct virtual and in-person appointments, and provide guidance on admissions, housing, scholarships, and financial aid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree conferred prior to or upon start date.
• Admissions Counselor I: One year related experience
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Determine and execute strategies for effective outreach for an assigned territory.
• Develop and initiate communication through calls, texts, emails, and personal interactions with prospective students, families, counselors, and advisors which may include monthly benchmarks for contact.
• Develop and conduct recruitment activities that further progress towards enrollment goals.
• Conduct trend analysis for your assigned territory and formulate action plans based on that analysis.
• Work in conjunction with recruitment staff and leadership to integrate your analysis and planning into the University’s overall enrollment plan.
