Job summary

The Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver seeks an Admissions Counselor to support recruitment and admissions for GSSW programs. You will engage with prospective students by phone and email, guide them through the application process, and host virtual information sessions and campus events.

Primarily working in Slate to manage applications, data, communications, and reporting, you will assist in admissions reviews and travel to in-state college fairs to promote GSSW

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of experience working in an office.
• Some graduate-level coursework is preferred.
• 2 years of administrative experience in an office is preferred.
• Experience working with college/university admissions and CRMs (Slate, Ellucian).

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and other channels with information about programs and campus life.
• Initiate outbound calls to prospective students to discuss benefits and address questions.
• Build rapport to understand educational goals and guide through inquiry, application and enrollment processes.
• Assist students in completing applications and gathering required documents.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and support reporting needs.
• Co-lead information sessions and campus tours; support events.
• Travel in-state to college fairs and recruitment events to promote GSSW.
