Job summary

Harvey Mudd College seeks an Admission Counselor to lead the Office of Admission’s social media, recruit and enroll students, and contribute to strategies that enhance diversity within the applicant pool. The position reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admission and involves collaboration with a wide network of counselors, staff, and faculty to uphold the College’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in highly selective admission helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to College’s auto insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Office of Admission’s social media efforts, including planning and executing strategies, creating and publishing content across platforms.
• Recruit and enroll students who fulfill the College’s mission.
• Contribute to strategies to grow diversity in the applicant pool.
• Interview prospective students and participate in committee-based selection.
