Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of sales experience.
• Strong sales and people skills; background in customer service and higher education beneficial.
• Experience working with adult population preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Meet inquiry and conversion ratio goals established by the College.
• Develop an individual recruitment plan aligned with the Strategic Enrollment Plan.
• Maintain CRM with prospects through enrollment and report activities.
• Lead external recruitment events, information sessions, orientations, and graduate programs.
• Establish relationships with prospective students and guide them through registration and enrollment.
• Travel as required and present professionally at events.

DescriptionJob Title: Admissions RecruiterCompany: Cambridge College Puerto Rico @ Bay Path UniversityJob Summary: The admissions recruiter represents Cambridge College at Bay Path University to prospective students and organizations and works to increase prospects and convert them into enrolled students. The primary duty is to support the College's mission to identify and recruit prospective students to Cambridge College Puerto Rico and successfully meet enrollment goals. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is enthusiastic about the mission of the University and education, and exhibits superior customer service skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions such as interviews, phone calls, emails, and information sessions. The recruiter is a self-starter who creates and implements recruitment strategies to reach prospective students through multiple channels, including events, initiating MoUs, referrals, online and print communications, and outreaches to businesses and organizations. Reports directly to the Associate Director of Admissions at the Puerto Rico Campus. This position is on campus.QualificationsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Meeting inquiry and conversion ratio goals established by the College.Developing an individual recruitment plan consistent with the College's Strategic Enrollment Plan for each semester, as well as participating in the creation of a team recruitment plan.Completing weekly activity reports to include documentation of recruitment/outreach activities and student appointments.Developing and maintaining the data in the CRM, including prospects through enrollment.Utilizing phone, email, text, and other technology to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner, providing superior student service.Participating in and leading external recruitment events, information sessions, orientations, registration events, and graduation.Establishing relationships with students, determining the correct program fit for students' career and personal goals, and following them through the registration and enrollment process.Providing timely feedback (through systematic and periodic reports) to Schools, Regional Center Directors, and the marketing office regarding market needs, challenges faced when selling the college programs, and offering suggestions for improvement.Attending training sessions to receive updated information about new programs, services, educator licensure requirements, etc..Working independently, demonstrating high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to organize effectively.Job RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 5-years or more of sales experience.Strong sales background and people skills preferred; background in customer service, sales, marketing, and higher education are beneficial.Experience working with the adult population is preferred.Skills & Competencies:Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, with Spanish proficiency being the primary priority for this role.Communication Skills: Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills in public, in person, and in writing. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, write reports, and effectively present information to groups of staff, faculty, administration, students, families, and/or the general public.Computer Skills: Facility with MS Office Suite, social media, and marketing via the Internet as a tool. Ability to work within a CRM to manage personal goals and outreach to prospective students.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical instructions.Cultural Competency: Must be able to work with individuals from a milieu of backgrounds and be culturally competent.Additional Requirements:Schedule: A flexible work schedule that will include days, evenings, and some weekends is required.Mobility & Travel: Travel, a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle are required.Physical Effort: The candidate is required to be mobile and occasionally lift and/or move 40-50 pounds.Presentation: Professional attire and personal presentation are required daily.
