Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and life experience.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admission into treatment by interviewing clients or representatives.
• Determine insurance eligibility or medical assistance.
• Complete admission forms and obtain signatures.
• Respond to inquiries about treatment program and services.
• In residential centers, manage census counts and waiting lists.

Education

100 hours of documented clinical training
