High Point University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to join the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. You will manage an assigned geographic territory, develop a comprehensive recruitment plan, and actively represent the university at high schools, college fairs, and community events.
You will maintain regular contact with prospective students, families, and school counselors, guiding them through the admissions process with professionalism and empathy.
The Admissions Counselor at High Point University serves as an integral member of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions team, responsible for managing and strategically developing an assigned geographic territory to support the University’s enrollment goals. This position plays a key role in identifying, recruiting, admitting, and enrolling academically qualified students who align with the mission and values of High Point University. The Admissions Counselor will design and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan, actively representing the University at on- and off-campus events, high schools, college fairs, and other outreach initiatives. A successful candidate will maintain frequent and meaningful contact with prospective students, parents, and school counselors, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a deep understanding of students’ varied needs throughout the admissions process. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional service and guidance to prospective students and their families.
